FBT Horizon VHA 406ND

Constructed in 0.47’’ birch plywood with a tough and tour-ready synthetic rubber surround, each VHA406ND comprises four 6.5-inch woofers plus a 1.4’’ large format neodymium compression driver with a 2.5” voice coil.

The purpose-designed central waveguide, optimized with BEM finite element simulators, offers dispersion of 90° horizontal and 20° vertical, with precise and focused vertical control across the enclosure’s entire operating range.

The result is a combination of perfectly balanced, symmetrical dispersion.

The summit of the entire project is the 800+400W RMS amplification module with TCP/IP network interface. Based on the OCA ALLIANCE AES70 standard, the new HORIZON family receives 24-bit 48-96Khz digital audio streaming from all devices compatible with the DANTE standard and communicates with the INFINITO System Management Suite remote control software. The module is contained in an aluminium chassis with intelligent forced ventilation and is equipped with an OLED display with encoder for parameter setting and a high-brightness blue front LEDallows remote identification of the device, also in daylight. Fully developed in house by the FBT R&D team, INFINITO is the revolution that enhances the user experience, reaching new heights in terms of performance and simplicity.

The VHA406ND Class-D switch mode amplifier module can deliver:

• 800W for the LF section
• 400W for the HF section

Integrated hardware

• Allows the linking of up to six VHA406ND cabinets in vertical array
• With variable angles from 5° to 20° (in 5° steps)
• Ensure of an easy and error-proof system configuration and set-up.

Rigging is simplified even further:

• Inclusion of only one setting point per side.
• All setting pins are fixed and integrated into the hardware
• Elimination of both the risk of loss and damage in transport.

The integrated quick-release anchor points facilitate the creation of horizontal arrays using the dedicated flybar:

• Each flybar will support up to three VHA406A cabinets
• Multiple flybars can be joined for the creation of arrays delivering up to 360° coverage. 

The FBT HORIZON VHA406ND provides a wide range of accessories:

• Suspension, pole-mounting or ground-stacking.
• Rrain cover that protects the electronic parts from the rain
